It Is Finished

Luke 2:44 What a tragedy to ”Suppose” that Christ be with us, and to find out that He is Not.

Psalm 90:12 With all the knowledge, history, word of God, mercy and grace afforded me, I would be a fool to leave this world without the guarantee of God.

James 4:11-C There is a war in every man to boast in self. At the expense of the brethren, and also man thinking he is self sufficient without God.

James 4:1-10 There’s an ongoing war between the inward and outward man, the spiritual and the carnal, the mind and the members. The Lord sees this relationship, so holy, sacred, and serious, it’s compared to marriage.

James 4:1-2 Decisions are driven by desire. Our desires can be influenced by God, His Word, His Will, or by the flesh. We can spend a lifetime wandering in the wilderness and come up empty. Or, we can delight ourselves in the Lord and have a life of fulfillment.

Philippians 3:17-21 Paul breaks away from his description of a Christian, and reveals there are people among the Philippians who are enemies of the Cross. Their description, their god is their belly!

2 Kings 5:1-C Naaman had it all, but He was a Leper.

Philippians 3:12-17 Paul wrote to Timothy that he was the pattern in coming to salvation. In Philippians, Paul is the ensample. Let this mind be in you, which he has revealed from verse 1 through 17. What does a Christian look like, what or whom does he trust in. Is there a place to relax, slow down, quit?

Your covenant with death, your refuge, your hiding place, will they prove to be true in the day of judgment?

Your response to the Word of God?
