Galatians 4:21-31 As Isaac was, we are,  the children of promise. The promise of God. No work of man can be associated with true God given salvation. 

A Place of Authority

Luke 7:1-10 The Centurion was a link in the chain of command and authority. Jesus Christ, has all authority in heaven and earth. Who are you, are you in Him, is He in you?

 

Cleansing the Leper

Leviticus 13:1-13  14:1-7 Leprosy, a type of sin, was diagnosed by the priesthood. An internal corruption, uncleanliness, which was revealed outwardly, But only cleansed by sacrifice.

Given to Salt

Ezekiel 47:1-11 The miraculous waters flowing out of the tabernacle of God, are able to bring life to places that are without question, dead.  But, the miry and marshes are given to salt. 

No Peace for the Wicked

Isaiah 57:10-21 Man is on a continual quest and has wearied himself to find peace and contentment. Yet, he never seems to realize, there is no hope outside of the Lord.

What a Word is This?

Luke 4:36 Amazed at His authority and power they said,  “What a word is this?” Thank God for His Word.

Blind and Deaf

Isaiah 42 Who is as blind as the informed, privileged, the people God has given the greatest revelation. The people of Israel, had a greater opportunity than anyone else. Yet, the Lord says they had greater blindness and deafness. 

Where art Thou?

Genesis 3:1-13 Where art Thou, God’s question to man, not that He doesn’t know. But, would there be an admission an acknowledgement of where we are, and our spiritual condition when God calls to us? 

Left half Dead

Luke 10:25-35 Man comes into the world half dead because of the inherent sin of Adam. If not for the Lord Jesus’ sacrifice, we would die completely and eternally. 

The Lord’s Requirements

Micah 6:6-8 How can a man come before God? Is it in formalism, rituals, ceremony? No , we must come with a desire to commune with God, realizing who He is and who we are.
