Conformed or Transformed

Lead me to Rock

Psalm 61:1-2 With his heart covered with with clouds, darkness, billows rolling over him, he cries:  Lord, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 

Aaron‘s Rod

Numbers 17:1-10 God is going to confirm his choice of Aaron,  in spite of the rejection and rebellion of Israel.

The Plague was Stayed

Numbers 16   Rebels have risen against Moses and Aaron two consecutive days. God’s wrath, the plague, has begun. Only the high priest can stay the plague.

A Kinsman nearer than I

Ruth 4:1-10 There are only two Kinsman, and only one who has the desire and ability to redeem. 

No Knowledge, God’s Righteousness

Man is continually looking for a way to get to heaven. This maybe by works, establishing his own righteousness, or comparing himself with someone else. None of these are according to God‘s righteousness. 

No Knowledge, perfection Required

If man is going to heaven by good deeds or good works, he must live perfectly.
