Acts 26:17 Why would Paul need to be delivered from the people and from the Gentiles? He’s proclaiming the greatest news that humanity has ever been given. But, fallen man resists, rejects, and hates what the gospel has to say to him.

Acts 26:16 Jesus tells Paul exactly why He has appeared to him. The reasons may be specific for Paul, but can be accepted generally for everyone to whom he appears.
